About Us
Who are we, exactly? You'll never know! (Well, more realistically, our closest friends may know but they'll never be able to tell everyone.) We could be that guy instagraming away on that bench, or that girl snapping pictures with her Nikon. Or the group of friends tapping away on their phones as they ignore the car braking hard to avoid them on the crossing near Hornbake. But, most likely, we're just a group of students who love to film, photograph, and share stories.

The Diamondback "I was on a journey with the two founders of Hidden UMD — the blog showcasing the campus’s inherent beauty — that has skyrocketed in popularity over the past few weeks."
HerCampus "Yes ma’am, these photos are of the University of Maryland, and it’s amazing how you can be surrounded by such beauty every day and never realize it. That’s why a lot of students believe Hidden UMD has become such a huge success."
Zeke Gonzalez "Keep it up, this is a beautiful website." Anonymous "This website is genius. Simple and elegant. I also love the mystery. Keep it coming!" Chris Archibald "Just wanted to say how amazing this site is. I'm a graduate from 2008 and this site makes me want to go back on campus and enjoy the sights again. Keep up the great work!" Mandy Wang "You guys have really, really good photography!" Mark "Class of 2010 here -- just commenting because I'm excited." Nijar Imanguli "I just want to say you are awesome! I am an alumna (class of 2009) and stumbled upon this and feel so proud of UMD. Thanks for doing this and keep on rocking on!!" Heather Dewar "I love your blog. It's such a nice love letter to the campus and your fellow students." Joann Adamczyk "I absolutely love, love this website! It's everything I miss going to and from class. It's also a great side track for when I'm trying to work on a paper. Keep it up! Thanks!" Sara Haq "Ahmazing! Thanks Hidden UMD! Keep up the great work." Lori J. Kader "Love your FB postings!" Laura Harris "Captivating, interesting design in the composition and just beautiful to look at." Diana Devine "Wow sure looks entertaining! Great photo!" Aaron Marcavitch "Fantastic blog. Well done photos and interesting descriptions. Way to go folks!" Emily Schweich "Everyone's seen Instagrammed pictures of the sunset over McKeldin or the mall on a beautiful day, but Hidden UMD highlights some of the less popular spots on campus that are just as special and unique." Rebecca Rainey "The fact that students can submit their stories and pictures makes it so naturally unique and almost an underground yearbook. Students can document their own individual memories as they saw them, which makes it a beautifully raw first-hand experience of the campus." Olasubomi Adesoye "It’s a way to share the campus' best kept secrets, a way to display the UMD student atmosphere, but the best part about it is that it’s all shown in photography form. […] Hidden UMD allows the artist in each one of us to arise."
